Services

Advance Security can tailor its patrol service to meet your needs. Random patrol check of your premises ensuring all doors are locked and secure, all glazing visually checked, staff escorts at the close of business or a welfare check on your staff working in isolated areas Advance Security ensures all services.

SmartGuard System

Advance Security uses the SmartGuard System to guarantee that clients’ premises are receiving the contracted number of patrols, and that all specified areas of a premise are patrolled.  Smartguard “buttons” are strategically placed around a client’s property, in consultation with the client.  When carrying out a patrol, the officer “hits” each button with the SmartGuard gun; the button electronically records each “hit”.  This information is later downloaded and a SmartGuard report is provided to the client at specified intervals.
The SmartGuard System is considered state of the art within the Security Industry.  Smartguard reports cannot be falsified and the system cannot be cheated.

Run Sheets

The patrol officer is required to maintain a run sheet on which he records the time of each patrol.  The accuracy of these sheets is considered to be of the highest priority and they are rigorously checked against SmartGuard reports as part of our quality assurance process.

Incident Reports

Any officer attending an alarm is required to complete an Incident Report.  This multi-purpose report would also be used to record other observations, such as any recent damage, graffiti or vandalism, the presence of any unauthorised persons or vehicles or any other out of the ordinary occurrence or observation.
The Mobile Patrols Manager inspects all incident reports the next day, and appropriate action is taken.

Defective Equipment Report

Should the patrol officer note a fault in the operation of any of his communications equipment, or his patrol vehicle, he is required to complete a “Defective Equipment Report”.  Equipment repair or replacement is then the responsibility of the Mobile Patrols Manager.

Reporting to the Client

Advance Security endeavours to tailor its reporting to the individual client’s needs.  Standard provision is a monthly Smartguard report and copies of any incident reports left at the site.  However, in addition, Advance Security is happy to supply a monthly Summary of Incidents or a regular interview / performance review at the client’s request, and currently does so for a number of clients.  The frequency of the various reports can be adjusted to suit the client’s needs.

Training

As part of the training provided by “Executive Security Training” Security Officers are fully educated in Occupational Health and Safety Practices relevant to the Security Industry.  Security Officers are encouraged at all times to consider their own safety as paramount.  Officers are instructed in use of Fire Extinguishers and Fire Safety, safe behaviour when intruders may be present, their legal rights and regulations relating to the Security Industry, identifying safety risks around a site and dealing with emergency services, amongst other topics.
